Tom Crookham, Mark (Toby) Banfield and Ross Connock of PwC have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Molson Group Limited ("MGL").
Tom Crookham, Ross Connock and Vesela Romagnoli have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Molson Equipment Services Limited ("MES"), Capital Equipment Finance Limited ("CEF"), Aggregate Processing Solutions Limited ("APS") and Molson Scotland Limited ("MSL") – together with MGL"the Companies" or “the Group”.
The appointments were made on 6 November 2026.
The Companies operate as a distributor of new and used heavy machinery. Headquartered in Bristol, the Companies employ around 330 people in the UK, operating across England and Scotland.
The group has experienced significant financial difficulties in recent months and faced near-term funding needs driven by challenging macroeconomic factors including weakened UK demand and uncertain trading conditions.
Immediately following the appointment of joint administrators of Molson Group Limited, a sale of the shares it holds in its US businesses was completed to a newly incorporated company. This will enable the US operations to continue outside of the group. As a result of this a small number of employees have transferred to that business.
The Administrators are carrying out an orderly wind-down of the Companies' business in the UK. This includes selling remaining equipment and parts stock and collecting amounts owed to the Companies.
The US businesses are not in administration and continue to trade as normal.
