PwC Corporate Finance advises the management team of Aquila Heywood on the sale of Aquila Heywood to BlackRock private equity

The UK Corporate Finance team is pleased to announce the acquisition of Aquila Heywood, a UK based market leader in pensions administration software and services by BlackRock Long Term Private Capital.

The company resulted from the 2002 merger of actuary firm Heywood and pension software business Aquila. The group now consists of divisions Heywood, i-Connect and Atmos, after technology outsourcer Equiniti took over Aquila in late 2018.

The existing management team led by chief executive Andy Ross will remain with the business.

PwC Corporate Finance acted as adviser to Andy Ross and the management team on the terms of their new equity. The PwC team advising on the deal consisted of Duncan Skailes, Christian Evans and Ibukun Alamutu.
