Programme description

Following the success of our Spring cohort, PwC has partnered again with White Horse Capital and The Accelerator Network to bring you the second Raise Programme.

This eight week part time programme is designed exclusively for scale-ups looking to raise and negotiate their first round of institutional funding. We appreciate you have a business to run and so our workshops are designed to effectively target the fundamentals required to become investor ready.

As a programme participant you will receive continuous guidance and support throughout your fundraising journey, which includes:

  • attendance at a series of expert-led masterclasses on all things fund raising,
  • practice pitch sessions with real investors,
  • pitching your business to up to 80+ carefully selected investors,
  • assistance with negotiating and brokering your raise.

Programme structure

Week 1 - Tuesday 9th Oct: Programme launch

Meet your fellow cohort and programme delivery team before jumping right in to getting investor ready

Week 2 - Wednesday 17th Oct: Market and value proposition

Understand the size of the prize and how to communicate your value proposition in the best way for for investors

Week 3 - Tuesday 23rd Oct: Finance and Valuation

Deep dive into your financial model and valuation, addressing the common pitfall and understanding best practice reporting

Week 4 - Tuesday 30th Oct: Resourcing, Team and Tech

Understand your team needs and requirements, enhance your sales and marketing plan and develop your use of funds outline

Week 5 - Wednesday 7th Nov: Investor Readiness

Articulate your investor proposition and articulate your return on investment.

Week 6 - Wednesday 14th Nov: Pitch Practice

The final run through and feedback with guest investor panel before the big day

Week 7 - Monday 19th Nov: Legal Workshop

Understand the legal requirements and what to consider in the term sheets, follow up with any bespoke support and consolidate your investor documents
