This year marked an important shift for business. We’ve entered a world of new frontiers.

AI is reshaping every industry. Geopolitical disruption is intensifying. What began as uncertainty has moved into unfamiliarity – a world where established patterns no longer guide the best decisions.

For PwC – a firm built over 176 years on trust, expertise and human judgement - this is when our role matters most. We help bring clarity to complexity - and confidence to the moments that matter.

Now, rather than wait for conditions to settle, we're investing to become a more connected, technology-enabled and impactful firm.

We're not standing still – we’re building deliberately for the future.

As our clients' challenges become increasingly interconnected, our own capabilities must become more connected too. Bringing Consulting and Risk together creates a simpler, more integrated firm around the problems clients need us to solve.

Clients expect us to lead - and we are.

Whether helping organisations embrace and implement AI, modernise their operations, or navigate increasingly complex supply chains, our role remains the same: bringing together technology, deep industry expertise and trusted human judgement to help clients make better decisions, move with more confidence, and deliver desired outcomes.

Our professional and business services sector is vital, particularly when the environment is unstable. And I’m incredibly proud of what we achieve alongside our clients, helping them navigate change, unlock growth and strengthen the industries that power our economy.

Our financial performance reflects the resilience of our business model and our approach to markets.

While revenue grew in the UK, the Middle East business was impacted by significant regional disruption.

In the UK, our Tax, Audit, Consulting and Deals businesses all grew, and we also recorded our largest sales quarter on record in Q3.

All the while we’ve continued to invest in our people and our infrastructure.

Continued AI skills training is a critical path for the firm’s future success - and now all of our people have access to AI tools.

Our regional footprint remains important to our ability to work alongside our clients while playing our part in providing quality jobs across the UK. This year we invested in new offices in Reading and Cardiff.

So, as we look ahead, with the outlook remaining uncertain, we’re building on a solid strategy and investing with discipline - in AI-enabled services, in integrated capabilities, in our people and in our clients.

And we’ll keep adapting - as this great firm has done for nearly two centuries.
