Phones 4u
We were appointed over certain companies as joint administrators within the Phones4U group (a large independent retailer of mobile phones and accessories) as summarised in the file attached here.
On 4 March 2026, Phones 4U Limited changed its name to Phones Realisations 2026 Limited.
On 30 January 2026 an omnibus court application was made seeking:
To remove Robert John Moran as a joint administrator of Phones Realisations 2026 Limited and MobileServ Limited, both in administration and to appoint Catherine Rachel Atkinson as the replacement joint administrator and to fix the time for discharge from liability of Robert John Moran in relation to both companies;
To extend the administrations of Phones Realisations 2026 Limited and MobileServ Limited;
To fix the time for discharge from liability of David James Kelly as the joint administrator and Catherine Rachel Atkinson as the replacement joint administrator of Phones Realisations 2026 Limited and MobileServ Limited;
To discharge from liability of the joint administrators of David James Kelly and Robert John Moran as joint administrators of Phosphorus Acquisitions Limited, Phones4U Finance Plc and Phones 4U Group Limited;
To discharge from liability of the joint administrators of David James Kelly and Douglas Nigel Rackham as joint administrators of Policy Administration Services Limited;
To extend the Administrations of Phones Realisations 2026 Limited and MobileServ Limited from 15 March 2026 to 15 September 2026.
On 11 March 2026, the above matters were granted by Judge Addy KC in the High Court of Justice. A copy of the sealed court order is attached here.

David James Kelly and Catherine Atkinson have been appointed as joint administrators of Phones Realisations 2026 Limited (formerly Phones 4U Limited) and MobileServ Limited to manage their affairs, business and property as their agents and act without personal liability.
David James Kelly and Robert John Moran have been appointed as joint administrators of Phosphorus Acquisition Limited, Phones 4 U Group Limited and Phones4U Finance plc to manage their affairs, business and property as their agents and act without personal liability.
David James Kelly and Douglas Nigel Rackham have been appointed as joint administrators of Policy Administration Services Limited to manage its affairs, business and property as their agents and act without personal liability.
All are licenced in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
The joint administrators are Data Controllers of personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will act as Data Processor on their instructions. Personal data will be kept secure and processed only for matters relating to the administrations.
