The UK Bribery Act

The Bribery Act details both general offences in relation to bribing another person or being bribed and a specific offence relating to bribing foreign public officials, and also introduces a specific corporate offence of failing to prevent bribery. This is designed to make companies and other corporate bodies responsible for failing to prevent bribery committed on their behalf by employees, agents or subsidiaries.
