Claire Reid

Claire Reid is PwC UK’s Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. In this role, Claire is responsible for shaping PwC UK’s technology and innovation agenda, helping the firm and its clients harness emerging technologies to fuel growth, build resilience and create long-term value.
Prior to this, Claire led the firm’s UK Risk advisory practice, working with clients across industries on cyber security, technology risk, and data and analytics. She has been a member of PwC UK’s Executive Committee since 2024. She has also held several senior leadership roles across the firm, including leading the UK Restructuring & Forensics business and serving as Regional Leader for Scotland, where she oversaw PwC’s Audit, Deals, Consulting, Risk and Tax businesses.
Claire works closely with some of PwC’s largest clients on complex technology-enabled transformation, including AI, cloud and cyber programmes. She also leads key strategic technology alliances for PwC UK and has held a number of global client relationship roles.
Claire began her career at PwC in 1998 in the firm’s Glasgow office and became a Partner in 2012. She holds a degree in International Business and Modern Languages from the University of Strathclyde and has lived and worked overseas in San Jose and San Francisco. Beyond her role at PwC, Claire is a passionate advocate for mentoring female leaders.
