November brought a number of notable developments, including the FCA’s final rules on UK Sustainability Disclosure Requirements, investment labels and anti-greenwashing. In the life insurance sector, the PRA published a consultation clarifying and expanding its expectations for life insurers’ use of funded reinsurance (FundedRe) to support the writing of bulk purchase annuity business.

Elsewhere, the UK regulators published an updated version of the Grid, setting out their work plan of upcoming regulatory initiatives, and the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement brought a number of policy announcements related to financial services.
