We’re taking action for social change by supporting social entrepreneurs to create sustainable businesses that are good for the economy, people and planet.
PwC supports social entrepreneurs creating sustainable businesses that are good for the economy, people and the planet. It’s one way that we can help tackle social exclusion and alleviate unemployment in the UK.
Since 2011, we’ve had a Social Entrepreneurs Club, providing a comprehensive programme of support to its 250 members in all regions of the UK. We also support the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) and Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) to provide the framework to help social enterprises flourish and we have our own social enterprise, Brigade, which supports people who’ve experienced homelessness into employment in the catering industry. The depth and breadth of our support for the sector as a whole is unparalleled.
We have a UK-wide network of Centres for Social Impact (CSIs), where we foster social innovation and impact measurement and share our knowledge to accelerate positive change across the UK. The CSIs are physical collaboration spaces that we use to deliver our community programmes.
We currently have CSIs in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Norwich.
