Rob leads our mid-market Business Restructuring Services practice in London and the South East. He has worked in the restructuring arena for over 23 years, advising businesses, their funders and other stakeholders in a variety of advisory and insolvency situations.

Rob specialises in turnaround, cost reduction, accelerated M&A transactions, stakeholder management, financial review and restructuring and insolvency. He is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

Some of Rob’s recent insolvency work includes acting as administrator on the sale of the quarrying business of FH Gilman & Co and the sale of Exeter Airport. He has also recently worked on high profile companies such as Alexandra plc, Smallbone plc and the British School of Motoring.

Aside from insolvency appointments, Rob works with companies and their stakeholders in advisory capacity, and has recently worked on:

  • advising a family business around the various aspects of turnaround, including sales growth and cost reduction
  • advising the lenders to a large manufacturing business on the restructuring of complex debt facilities, and,
  • advising the trustees of the pension scheme of a listed business around the strength of the employer covenant.
