Immediately upon appointment, the Administrators completed a sale of the majority of the Companies’ business and assets to entities affiliated with Blandford Capital LLP (“the Purchaser”) who continue to trade the businesses as normal. The sale preserved the roles of 978 employees.
Redundant employees
Regrettably, 40 employees who had already been given notice of redundancy were made redundant immediately on appointment. The affected employees were provided with written communication and verbal communication where possible upon appointment. The Administrators’ employment team is working to support any impacted employees through the claims process. Employees should not submit any claim to the Redundancy Payments Service (RPS) until we have contacted the employee to provide more details on how to make a claim with the appropriate CN reference number.
