Our role
Trusted adviser for the responsible and ethical deployment of GenAI
Our deliverable
Providing and embedding ChatGPT Enterprise technology
The outcome
Improved productivity and customer experience
Since deepening our strategic alliance with OpenAI in May 2024, we’ve been helping multi-sector clients invest in and capitalise on the transformative potential of GenAI.
As the first global reseller of ChatGPT Enterprise licences, we work with clients to not only provide access to this leading technology but also to embed it fully across their organisations, driving productivity, innovation and enhancing customer experience.
In January, we teamed up with top 100 UK law firm Hugh James to roll out ChatGPT Enterprise to its workforce through our alliance with OpenAI. From the outset, legal teams piloting the technology were encouraged to disrupt traditional ways of working, using GenAI to increase their productivity and free up time to focus on what matters most. It was clear this was more than a technology upgrade.
Together, we developed an onboarding journey balancing technical training with broader GenAI education. This included university-style lectures, weekly workshops and bootcamps. A key part of the rollout was helping the firm create an Acceptable Usage Policy, giving users clear, compliant guidelines for responsible use of ChatGPT.
At the same time, we began our AI journey with leading UK asset manager Jupiter Asset Management. This collaboration focused on embedding ChatGPT Enterprise into daily work, helping teams think ‘AI first’ and driving lasting behavioural change.
We worked with Jupiter to onboard stakeholders - balancing technical delivery with clear governance to ensure all staff could use AI responsibly and effectively.
Early signs of success came from enablement sessions, with around 20% of the workforce engaging in business-relevant demonstrations, sparking enthusiasm and creativity across the organisation.
Legal teams were able to cut time spent reviewing case materials, increase the speed of content creation, and use GenAI to develop complex litigation strategies. Some 89% of those taking part in the pilot found it ‘very or extremely helpful’.
Taking learnings from our GenAI journey, Hugh James scaled adoption at speed. By streamlining repetitive, administrative tasks, legal teams now prioritise decision-making and client collaboration.
“Our adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise is a strategic investment in the future of legal technology. PwC has been instrumental in our initial onboarding process, providing expert guidance on responsible AI adoption and helping us to integrate ChatGPT Enterprise effectively.”
Jupiter initially invested in ChatGPT Enterprise licences for around 20% of its workforce. Within five months, the asset manager increased its investment to roll out ChatGPT Enterprise to almost 50% of its workforce.
The client is now equipped to harness AI at scale, with the right governance, tools, and behaviours embedded.
“Working with PwC to onboard ChatGPT has been a great experience. Their flexibility around licensing, proactive support, and well-structured training sessions gave us the right momentum to roll out effectively. Their commitment to keeping us informed on the latest developments has made a real difference and has helped in making it a big success.”
