Enterprise Resilience Lead, PwC United Kingdom
I deliver leadership, subject matter expertise, and highly practicable services to clients in the following areas:
My clients include government departments, defence organisations, national infrastructure, financial services, global and national retailers, specialist manufacturers, housing associations, and media organisations.
I also undertake continuing research in the fields of organisational and operational resilience. Published papers include The Art and Science of Enterprise Resilience, the PwC/London First Resilience Survey and the PwC/BCI Business Continuity Futures report. I've spoken at conferences and run workshops for organisations including RUSI, Cranfield University, Airmic, the BSI and the BCI.
However, at heart I am a problem solver and a fixer. I enjoy the challenge of understanding complex problems, creating understanding for others and implementing highly practical, pragmatic, efficient solutions that supports people, teams and business. In my current role, these problems have included understanding what makes an organisation more and less resilient to failure; defining KPIs to monitor operational resilience; and developing authentic crisis leadership confidence.
