Max is a Deals Tax partner who has spent his career advising financial and strategic buyers and sellers on all tax aspects of the full range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, initial public offerings (IPOs), refinancings and restructurings. His focus is on supporting clients to create and protect value through tax over the investment lifecycle.

Over an 18 year career, Max has accumulated extensive experience advising a broad range of clients including private equity firms, large listed or privately owned corporations, infrastructure and sovereign investment funds.

Max leads PwC UK’s Deals Tax business. Deals Tax is a national team of almost 400 people which advises private equity, corporate, real estate, infrastructure, private credit and sovereign investment funds on all tax aspects of transactions. The team also advises private equity and real asset portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

Max is a Fellow of the ICAEW and earned a Masters in Mathematics from Imperial College. He speaks English, Italian and German.
