Simon Fairchild

Simon has 20 years professional services experience. In addition to his external audit experience he set up and led the Internal Audit/Operational Review function for PwC itself, and has been the outsourced Head of Internal Audit for four FTSE 200 multinationals. Having previously headed PwC's Internal Audit business in the Midlands, Simon currently leads PwC's Internal Audit practice in the London Region; specialising in helping clients optimise the effectiveness of their internal audit arrangements.

Specific experience includes helping transport sector clients identify risks and providing them with assurance that those risks are being properly managed. Most recently this has included programme assurance for a major change program around ERP implementation and shared services at a FTSE 150 multinational.
