Julia Symons: Compliance is a massive challenge for so many of our clients, and we want to help them with that.

Rob Stephenson: Scrutiny of companies is increased. The regulatory landscape is much more complex. The focus on ethics has definitely increased.

Jonathan Howe: All of our clients understand the importance of compliance. They work hard to comply. They do comply. But what we're talking about here is can we get much more out of the process of complying?

Jonathan: Compliance by most of our clients is viewed as a burden. It's something that takes up, sucks up resources. Resources that often our clients would like to be using elsewhere.

Julia: Our clients are struggling to do what they need to with the capacity that they have within their organisation.

Rob: On a human level, that is confusing and exhausting.

Jonathan: We are set up to take away that burden of compliance, so that our clients can focus on what really matters to them.

Julia: We can help them transform their business by bringing in technologies which will expedite processes and really enhance efficiency.

Rob: We're helping them identify ways that they can be more efficient, that they can maintain that ethical approach to their organisation. But to do it in a pragmatic and proportionate way, so they're not making it difficult to do business.

Julia: We have vast experience working with the regulators to establish what these compliance needs might need to be for organisations. So we're incredibly well placed to help organisations navigate them.

Jonathan: This is our bread and butter. We have fantastic deep specialists, great people who really live and breathe this, and we've invested hugely in the technology and platforms to support those.

Julia: One of our clients is a large FMCG organisation and we've been supporting them with their reporting processes. It started actually initially with their controls testing, where they outsourced an element of that to us. That then transferred into statutory reporting, annual reporting and into sustainability reporting, and by bringing that organisation all onto one system for all of those elements it's really made things more efficient.

Jonathan: People and authorities want data, more or less instantly. To deliver that, you need to use technologies. We build technology and platforms, we work on that to deliver for clients. But our clients can come into the same platforms and work alongside us. They can access our technology on demand so they don't have to invest themselves.

Rob: One of my key client projects is for a global Japanese pharmaceutical company.So we've taken their compliance monitoring programme and we've been able to, take all of their data, centralise it, produce dashboards, and allow them to be much more proactive and targeted. It's really put them on the front foot and added value back into the organisation, because they've got a wealth of business insights.

Jonathan: If you start to look at that compliance end to end, you start to very quickly move upstream. You start to look at your data. I can then start to use that data to ask questions. I can start to draw insights from that data.

Rob: Using AI in technologies is a huge advantage for us and for our client. It speeds up the process. It's much more efficient.

Jonathan: What makes me really passionate about this is you can tangibly see the benefits that you can create.
