Intelligent review

The search for a perfect combination of people and technology

We know that organisations are increasingly faced with the challenge of reviewing, understanding or extracting information from vast quantities of data. Increasing advances in technology provide opportunities to make these exercises faster and more cost effective. The key is to find the optimal combination of the right technology, used by people with the requisite skills and experience.

Providing visibility and insight to volumes of complex data

The data held by an organisation in its documents is critical to demonstrate or defend good corporate governance, whether in response to a regulator or litigation. It is also of significant commercial value, such as commercially sensitive information or rights within a contract population. However, to unlock the opportunities, or mitigate risks in that data, visibility is needed across the document population with insight offered into its contents.

We have experience in helping organisations deal with a variety of these risks and opportunities including:

  • Suspected misconduct;
  • The loss of sensitive data or intellectual property;
  • Understanding what personal data they hold;
  • Responding to a regulator query or investigation;
  • Litigation;
  • Legal and commercial awareness of rights and liabilities across a volume of contracts; and
  • Internal governance.

We can provide both visibility and insight by:

  • Employing market leading technology;
  • Combining artificial intelligence with subject matter expertise;
  • Applying our experience in leading high volume projects, including responding to requests from regulators, supporting disclosure in litigation, performing redaction reviews for compliance and commercial reasons, review of Bloomberg/Reuters data and conducting multilingual reviews;
  • Reviewing contracts to identify relevant data points, making them available in a digital, searchable format for multiple business purposes;
  • Reviewing documents compromised as a result of a data breach to quickly identify potential risks. We have the scale to deploy large teams at short notice to get the answers our clients need without undue delay;
  • Supporting Data Discovery by reviewing a volume of documents to identify if they contain Personally Identifiable Information; and
  • Reviewing internal policies and procedures.
