At Eave our mission is to eliminate the isolation and loneliness caused by hearing loss and we achieve this through a complete hearing protection solution that is made up of a smart ear defender. Combined with a digital platform. The ear defender protects people's hearing while still providing situational awareness, but also collects data on exposure and wear-rates of the protection as well.

We set out to raise 2 million pounds earlier this year to fund production and manufacturing for existing customer demand, as well as hiring new exceptional people and continuing our innovation programme. Taking part in the Raise Programme this year really allowed us to get into the heads of the VC's from which we were looking to raise capital from, the Raise Programme allowed us to understand what documents we needed, what strategies we needed in place, and made the introductions ultimately so that we can start building the trust and relationships with potential investors.

I'd recommend working with the PwC team, especially on their Raise Programme for companies looking to raise their Series A because it's a really structured way over 10 weeks to actually get all of your ducks in a row so that when you go out to raise your funds, you know exactly what to expect. And we would absolutely love to work with the PwC team again on future fundraising.
