We’re taking action to empower communities by supporting social entrepreneurs to create sustainable businesses that are enhancing social mobility.
Social enterprise has been a key part of our community strategy for more than ten years, and is one of the ways that we help to empower communities. Our long-standing, award-winning programme encompasses: a social enterprise hub in London, which drives growth and collaboration in the sector by bringing together leading social enterprise organisations including Social Enterprise UK, the School for Social Entrepreneurs and our own social enterprise bistro Brigade; a social entrepreneurs’ club which supports the development of individual leaders of social enterprises across the UK; and a buy social programme which provides a route to market for social enterprises. The depth and breadth of our support for the sector as a whole is unparalleled.
We’re pleased to announce that the Building Public Trust Award for Impact in Social Enterprise is now open for applications. This award, in collaboration with the School for Social Entrepreneurs, recognises excellence in social enterprises demonstrating a positive social or environmental impact.
The awards are open for applications until 5:00pm on Thursday 13th June.
The winner will receive a £5,000 donation and two runners up will each receive a £2,500 donation from the PwC Social Entrepreneurs Club, to help them continue to grow their impact.
Please note: some applicants are experiencing issues with uploading files to our application form. If you cannot upload supporting evidence, please feel free to email the form, alongside the evidence documents to us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
