Customs Intermediary Service

Keep your goods moving from 1 January 2021

When the Brexit Transition Period ends on the 1st January 2021 a new customs border will be created between the UK and the EU - regardless of whether a Free Trade Agreement is reached with the EU or not.

Critically, to move goods across this new UK-EU border, a customs declaration for your imports or exports will have to be submitted to HM Revenue & Customs.

PwC will manage all of this complexity for you. We will complete and submit your customs declarations to HMRC on your behalf. Alongside this, we'll help you get ready for these changes, understand exactly what you need to do to navigate the new border, and cope with the wider challenges of moving goods in a post Brexit environment.

The accuracy, completeness and submission of your customs data to HMRC, as part of this process, will be critical to keeping your goods moving and mitigating your risk of non-compliance with rapidly changing border regulations.
