HE Perspectives: October 2020

The latest edition of PwC’s online newsletter for Higher Education

Welcome to the first issue of HE Perspectives of the 2020/21 academic year.

In preparing for this academic year, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have had to transform the way they operate, the way they teach and the way students learn. And with much uncertainty ahead - from Brexit to COVID-19 - HEIs will have to be agile in how they respond to new challenges as the year progresses.

Through these uncertain times, focusing on the people at the heart of HEIs - both the workforce and students - will be key. This edition of HE Perspectives focuses on some of the important issues on the people agenda for HEIs, from attracting the best international students, creating the workforce of the future and the tax implications of moving to online learning.

I hope that you find the articles in this collection useful and informative. If there are particular issues you would like us to cover in future editions, get in touch.
