Albertha Charles is PwC's Global and UK Asset & Wealth Management Leader. An award-winning consultant with more than 20 years' experience in financial services, she works with Asset & Wealth Management and Private Equity clients in the UK and globally on strategic and value-related decisions across the investment lifecycle.
In her global leadership role, Albertha brings together PwC's expertise across its international network to help clients respond to the structural forces reshaping the Asset & Wealth Management industry. She works closely with senior industry leaders on their strategic priorities and leads PwC's engagement and thought leadership across the sector.
Alongside her industry leadership role, Albertha advises clients on value considerations in M&A, strategic reviews, restructuring and fundraising, as well as broader value creation. She has worked on some of the largest financial services transactions and restructurings in Europe and has held several leadership positions at PwC, including three years as a member of the firm's Transaction Services Leadership Team.
Albertha leads PwC's global Asset & Wealth Management thought leadership and has led major industry studies including Asset and Wealth Management Revolution 2024 and Asset and Wealth Management Revolution 2025. She also chairs the editorial board of PwC's 2026 global sector outlook, Fit for the Future of Asset and Wealth Management. She is a regular speaker at industry conferences and forums internationally, and her perspectives on the sector are frequently featured in the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Financial News and other leading financial media.
Albertha is a member of the Investment Association Advisory Council and the Business in the Community Race Equality Leadership Board. She previously served for eight years on PwC's Partner Diversity Council.
Her industry recognition includes being named to Financial News' inaugural Black Leaders in Finance list, the Empower Top 100 Ethnic Minority Senior Executives list for six consecutive years, the BBBA Financial Services Leader of the Year award, The Consulting Report's Top 25 Financial Services Consultants and Leaders, Brummell's 30 Inspirational Women in the City, and Cranfield University's Women to Watch.
