Our credentials

Benchmarking is an important part of how we keep track of our progress. Taking part in awards schemes is one good way to maintain rigour in our data collection processes, to benchmark our programmes, and to gain valuable feedback from established external bodies, so that we can continue to challenge ourselves to innovate and improve.

Leading the transition

In July 2025 we became the first organisation globally to achieve the ‘Leading’ certification of the Carbon Trust’s Route to Net Zero Standard. With a score of 91% it places us at the forefront of the net zero transition.

We hold the Platinum rating in EcoVadis’ supplier assessment, scoring in the top 1% of respondents. EcoVadis is a global sustainability platform which rates our performance as a responsible business in areas covering environment, labour practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

We have held the Platinum sustainability rating in EcoVadis’ assessment for four consecutive years, scoring in the top 1% of respondents. EcoVadis is a global sustainability platform which rates our performance as a responsible business in areas covering environment, labour practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement. We were named a leader in carbon management for our 'strong GHG management system and best-in-class decarbonization commitments, actions and reporting capabilities’.

BREEAM Outstanding

Over the years we’ve achieved a series of milestones with our buildings. In 2011 our More London office was the first new-build office to achieve the BREEAM offices ‘Outstanding’ rating. In 2014 our Embankment Place office was the first retrofit office to achieve the Outstanding rating. And in 2014, we relocated our Leeds office to the first multi-tenanted office to achieve the Outstanding rating.


Carer Confident Employer

We’re recognised as a Level 2 Accomplished Carer Confident Employer by Employers for Carers. This recognises employers who have built an inclusive workplace where staff who are, or will become. carers are recognised, respected and supported.

Times Top 100 Graduate Employer of the Year

We’ve been voted as one of the UK’s top graduate employers by final year students, in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers survey.

The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2025

We’ve been recognised for our efforts in gender equality for the fifteenth year in a row in the Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2025. The unranked list, which includes public and private sector employers and organisations, is published in The Times in partnership with Business in the Community.


Top Twenty five Employer in the Social Mobility Employer Index

In 2019, 2020, 2023 and 2024 we were ranked as the number 1 employer in the Social Mobility Foundations’ Social Mobility Index. This year we are in the top 25 employers.

The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards

We won the inaugural Regional Impact award at the 30th Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards, in recognition of the PwC Social Entrepreneurs Club, helping social entrepreneurs to make connections, develop their skills and increase their societal impact since 2011.

 

Thriving at work award (CMHA)

We’ve been awarded the highest accreditation in the City Mental Health Alliance’s (CMHA) ‘Thriving at Work’ assessment. The assessment is an evaluation and benchmarking tool for organisations to measure their progress in developing mentally healthy workplaces.

Disability Confident Employer

We’re recognised as a Level 2 Disability Confident Employer. Which involves challenging attitudes and increasing understanding of disability. Whilst also removing barriers and ensuring that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.


Living Wage Employer

We’ve been an accredited UK Living Wage Employer since the scheme’s introduction in 2011. This extends to staff of our suppliers who are permanently based at our sites across the UK.

Parental Fog Index 2024

PwC is rated as ‘Fully Visible’ in Parental Fog Index 2024. The index is an annual ranking of the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers' parental support and transparency of family-friendly policies. It is in recognition of our support for working parents and that the details of our policies that support working parents are published on our website. Women on boards and in leadership 2025

We have been recognised as one of the top performing private companies for women on boards and for women in leadership in the 2025 FTSE Women’s Leader Review.
