John has been a partner in PwC since 2013, has led the National Employment Tax practice since 2019 and took on the role of Global Employment Tax & Payroll Leader at the end of 2021.

As UK Leader for Employment Tax, John maintains a diverse portfolio of clients, including major corporations, advising them on how to manage their employment costs as well as associated employment tax and employment risk and reward issues.

John is very familiar with HMRC’s approach to employment matters and has vast experience particularly in retail, hospitality and leisure industries.
