PwC proudly sponsored the PMI UK National Project Awards

The Project Management Institute (PMI) recognises excellence against a backdrop of new ways of working

PwC, in association with Project Management Institute UK, were delighted to virtually host the UK National Project Awards on 15 July 2021, where the overall winners were announced.

Ciaran Smith, President at PMI UK said: “The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people’s lives, business and the economy since the start of 2020. These awards recognised excellence across the project management profession in what was a challenging year. In addition to six individual and project award categories, the special award this year (as nominated and decided by public vote) recognised the UK’s best COVID-19 response project”.

Jessica Parthezius, Partner at PwC said: “Organisations across the UK and beyond are embracing new ways of working and this is reflected in the success of projects over the last year. The UK responded to these challenges in such a positive manner and we are delighted to have recognised project excellence at this challenging time. Projects are now being delivered differently and driven by a sense of urgency around new priorities, many shaped by COVID-19. With lives returning towards normality, we are looking forward to continued excellence in project management along with recognising the best talent across the UK.”
