Project Management Institute UK, in association with PwC, are delighted to announce the finalists for the UK National Project Awards along with the date for the gala dinner on 15th July 2021, where the overall winners will be announced.
Ciaran Smith, President at PMI UK said: “The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people’s lives, business and the economy since the start of 2020. These awards recognise excellence across the project management profession in what has been a challenging year. In addition to six individual and project award categories, the special award this year (as nominated and decided by public vote) recognises the UK’s best Covid-19 response project. I would like to thank all entrants who have provided a difficult job for the judging panel! The overall winners of each category will be revealed at our gala event on 15th July.”
Jessica Parthezius, Partner at PwC said: “Organisations across the UK and beyond are embracing new ways of working and this is reflected in the success of projects over the last year. The UK has responded to these challenges in such a positive manner and we are delighted to be recognising project excellence at this challenging time. Projects are now being delivered differently and driven by a sense of urgency around new priorities, many shaped by Covid-19. With lives returning towards normality, we are looking forward to continued excellence in project management along with recognising the best talent across the UK.”
The awards black-tie gala dinner, one of the UK’s premier project management events, will be held on Thursday 15th July at PwC offices, More London. This year the event will also include a virtual element to enable participation from wherever you are based in the UK. This will be a glittering celebration of the profession, recognising excellence from across industry sectors.
