PwC Raise | Ventures advises Human Forest in its £12m Series A round

The PwC Raise Ventures team is pleased to announce that it supported Human Forest on its latest Growth Capital funding round.

HumanForest is London’s most affordable and environmentally responsible micro-mobility company, and has raised £12m in a Series A funding round through a mix of debt and equity.

HumanForest have recently launched their brand new app improving UX and will launch into Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Merton and Southwark shortly having won new licenses in recent months. HumanForest also renewed its license to operate in the City of London last month. HumanForest is the only micro-mobility operator in London that has zero emission operations and is an accredited B-Corp.

The equity part of the raise will be invested into technology further developing the company’s advertising technology platform. The ad tech platform allows companies to advertise with purpose by providing HumanForest users with 10 minutes free cycling per day, driving the model shift needed to decarbonise transport.

The PwC Raise Ventures team advising Human Forest was led by Cara Haffey, Antonia Burridge, Lizzie Lord and Rob Wilkinson.

Agustin Guilisasti, CEO & Founder at HumanForest, said:

“Sustainable micro-mobility is a force for good in cities but to bring meaningful change it must be affordable and accessible. This funding round has accelerated our expansion, bringing affordable and sustainable mobility to even more Londoners, whilst enhancing our capital efficient approach to growth.”
