Partner, International Development team, PwC United Kingdom
David currently leads the International Development (ID) team in PwC. He joined the firm in 1998, prior to which he was an academic, and has been a Partner in the firm since 2010.
He has a PhD in economics from Warwick University and has published widely on education, skills and policy issues in the UK and beyond.
His main focus is currently on key UK public sector clients including the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department for International Trade, and the Department for International Development.
David is actively involved in a personal capacity in two innovative charities that have a strong focus on education in developing countries, one in India and one in Kenya. He leads on PwC’s work for DFID on the Girls’ Education Challenge and the SPHEIR higher education programme with the British Council.
