Sarah Gee is a member of PwC’s Data Protection Strategy, Law and Compliance Services leadership team.

She is a Senior Manager and Senior Data Protection Lawyer (Registered Foreign Lawyer and solicitor qualified in NSW, Australia), CIPP/E and CIPM certified, a Fellow of Information Privacy and holds a Master of Laws in Media & Technology Law from the University of New South Wales (Sydney).

Sarah joined PwC in 2022 and her practice includes both contentious and non-contentious data privacy matters. Sarah has over ten years’ experience working in legal practice including six years in-house, most recently as Privacy Lead for the People & Transformation function of a leading UK Bank where she had strategic and operational responsibility for driving GDPR compliance across a number of business areas.

She has supported large-scale, multi-jurisdictional and multi-functional projects (e.g., GDPR and ePrivacy Programmes) to implement compliant data protection practices across borders, advised on the adoption of new technologies, including wider consideration of data ethics as part of an emerging conversation, and is experienced at navigating the ongoing complexities of the international data transfer landscape in support of outsourcing/cloud adoption strategies that demonstrate understanding of technology-driven business priorities and commercial realities.

Her interests include cross-border data transfers, Cloud/SaaS adoption, and the privacy and ethical considerations of new, emerging and disruptive technologies, such as AI, machine learning and biometrics.
