In addition, their legacy HR system was coming up to the end of its contracted period and they were in need of a new solution. The second phase of the project, consisted of the deployment of the following areas:
To ensure that the migration was seamless, from start to finish:
In the first week of go-live, user adoption was 80%. Through supporting the client with knowledge transfer throughout the project, by the go-live date they were fully upskilled in Workday concepts and functionality. This meant that they were capable of maintaining the system and supporting production users from Day 1.
The implementation of Workday was very successful. The client almost instantly saw greater flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and accelerated access to innovation from an HR standpoint. There were also productivity and efficiency gains in key functional areas throughout the business.
Through implementing the cloud, our client was also able to reduce costs with no infrastructure and limited IT support requirements.
